This work explores the fractured nature of identity. Between the “real self” and the projected self that faces the world, a dissonance emerges. Inside, the true self feels trapped with fear of stepping out. It struggles, pushes against the shell of the external self, but that surface remains impassive. What is seen is not what is lived.
